Elfin Archer Extraordinaire

Welcome to
Strongbow: Elfin Archer Extraordinaire!

This is the unofficial source for all your Strongbow information,
images, fan creations, and whatnot.

The site will be updated bit by bit, so come back soon for more!

(Last major update: October 15, 2019  |  Last check-in: July 11, 2022… I’ve broken half the site, I promise I will fix it!)

Strongbow will feature in new elfquest comic series
“Stargazer’s Hunt”

Coming November 13, 2019, from Dark Horse Comics; “Stargazer’s Hunt”!
And Strongbow is on the cover! What will the Pini’s have in store for our favourite archer.
My comment when I first saw this image was: “Strongbow looks like he’s wearing the same… err… outfit as he did in his and Moonshade’s dream in Dreamtime. Coincidence?
Wendy replied: “What do you think?
I know I’M curious. Are you?

When ElfQuest: The Final Quest concluded, it ended the hero’s journey of Cutter Kinseeker, chief of the Wolfriders. But that was only the start of a new adventure for Cutter’s ”brother in all but blood,” Skywise. Now the stargazer elf, who thought he knew everything about Cutter, discovers how mistaken he was. That, combined with a tragic accident involving his daughter Jink, sends Skywise on a quest of his own, from the elves’ ancestral Star Home through uncharted space, and back to the World of Two Moons.

Stargazer’s Hunt has story by ElfQuest co-creators Wendy and Richard Pini, with script by Wendy Pini. Veteran Elfquest alumnus Sonny Strait returns at full force as the artist and colorist for the new series.

I’m still here. Busy with moneymaking.

Overhauling the site. It might look ‘off’ for a while, while I slowly work on it.

Yup, still alive. No updates this time, just saying I’ve not abandoned this website. 🙂

A long overdue update…

After a long time waiting, it’s almost there… Finally! The Line of Beauty will be released this month. After all this support on Kickstarter, I’m hyped to receive the final of the three special books ‘Line of Beauty’. The Art of Elfquest and The Art of the Story are amazing books, and takes you back to the very beginning up to now. And you learn a bit more about the processes of creating characters, outfits, the stories, etc…

Also, this is the month, when The Final Quest #19 has been released. While this is great news, it also means we only have 5 issues to go, until it ends. Will this final quest really be the final quest or do the Pini’s have more in store? Well, only time will tell…

Finally everything is up the way it was before the server transition.

And… We’re over halfway of The Final Quest! Issue #14 has recently been released and now we’re waiting for #15 coming in about 2 months.
That, and The Final Quest Volume 2 is being released on April 27 this year, while we have to wait a bit longer to be able to purchase The Complete ElfQuest Volume 3, which is due for release on November 2nd.

For more information, don’t forget to check DarkHorse.com for buying the books, and if you want information on where to buy Elfquest in The Netherlands (and Belgium), info is coming soon.

So, now that we have the full update, let’s get on with the real important stuff.

Thank you for visiting and please  come back soon (once you’re done browsing the site) for more updates! 🙂

After a long time of inactivity and after that, crashing of the previous site, we’re finally back up!

With “The Final Quest” being under way, with a big change to overcome for our dear elfin archer and his life mate Moonshade, it’s been long overdue to get this site up and running again. Sincerest apologies to everyone who enjoyed visiting, and hello to you ‘new’ Strongbow lovers.

Take a look around. While most of the ‘old’ content still there, old and new images will be added, as soon as I get around to digitalise and adjust them.
